You guys guessed it! This is a shot of the cables wrapped around an Xbox controller. Here's a shot of the whole controller:

my 1st guess was a snake but I think it is some sort of cable wires.
I'll guess it's a bicycle cable chain.

Gonna go with an Xbox controller with the wires wrapped around it.
At first, a thought a cord or cable of some sort...
Or perhaps a string -like a show string...
Like several others I would guess some type electrical wire with transparent coating. Perhaps electronic related such as speaker wire.
